From consent to unity and consolidation of Russian society

The article presents the author's points of view on the concept of "consent", which is very actively used in the domestic social and political areas, in the discussions of experts, and in daily rhetoric of political and public figures. The arguments "for" and "against" this phenomenon are expressed, and its bifurcation nature is determined. Multicultural unity and consolidation of Russian society are proposed as the most important requirements of our time as well as the main conditions for further development of the country.
