The sociocultural frontier of the museum in the virtual educational environment: statement of the problem

The article poses the problem of studying the socio-cultural frontier of the museum in a virtual educational environment. The object of the research is a virtual educational environment. It identifies the interdisciplinary problem area and the main problems. The concepts of the socio-cultural frontier of the museum and the virtual educational environment are explicated in the interdisciplinary culturological discourse. The productivity of the explication of the category socio-cultural frontier in museology and interdisciplinary research related to the study of the modern museum is substantiated.
