THE USE OF BALL GAMES IN THE PROCESS OF AUTOMATING SOUNDS IN CHILDREN 5-6 YEARS OLD WITH GENERAL SPEECH UNDERDEVELOPMENT

The article analyzes the concept of "automation of sounds" from the point of view of the organization of speech as a system, the link of which is self-control and self-regulation of sound reproduction. Automation of speech action is possible on the basis of gradual removal of conscious control due to stereotyping of performance. The pedagogical conditions of this process consider the use of ball games in individual speech therapy classes; different material of balls, their filling, size, color, providing the perception of signals of various modalities; as well as joint actions with an adult as speech motivation. According to the stage of automation of the set sounds, ball games have been developed and distributed into groups. The first block of games is held in various conditions of pronunciation of the delivered sound against the background of the formation of phonemic hearing and the ability to reproduce a rhythmic pattern. The second block of games is aimed at automating the delivered sound and the formation of grammatical categories. The article suggests the content of ball games according to the goals of automation. The speech material used in the games was selected on the basis of the existing errors in the sound pronunciation of children 5-6 years old. Performing the specified actions with the ball, the preschooler fixes his own speech achievements with rhythmic and coordination movements.
