IRRATIONAL MOTIVES IN THE BEHAVIOR OF THE CHARACTERS PLAYS BY TENNESSEE WILLIAMS “THE GLASS MENARY”

One of the most famous plays by Tennessee Williams, "The Glass Menagerie" is a classic example of American drama of the 20th century and still remains relevant for productions. The characters of the play are forced to live in a world that does not meet their expectations and requirements, which leads to internal and external conflicts, which often have unconscious causes. This article examines the irrational motives in the behavior of the characters in Williams' play "The Glass Menagerie".
