CONTINUATION AND PRESERVATION OF FOLK HANDICRAFTS OF NORTHERN ETHNIC MINORITIES IN THE HEILONGJIANG RIVER BASIN

This article describes the cultural crafts of northern ethnic minorities living in the Heilongjiang River basin. The aim of the paper is to describe the preservation and dissemination of folk crafts of ethnic minorities of China living in the Heilongjiang River basin. The practical significance of the article is explained by the fact that the listed cultural traditions and folk crafts of northern ethnic minorities may be of interest to philologists, culturologists and historians who study the spiritual traditions of China. The author describes in detail the creation of birch bark products, paintings made of fish skin, canvases with embroidery. The author concludes that the cultural heritage of the northern ethnic minorities of China is of artistic value and is included in the «List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of State Importance». Accordingly, in the modern world, the main traditions of northern ethnic minorities are preserved and continued in the form of organized lectures and workshops, in museums and libraries, as well as on tours for tourists.
