POLYCHOTOMIES AND THEIR SPECIAL VERSIONS IN THE HUMANITIES

The ever-increasing flow of data significantly complicates, and sometimes makes simply and impossible, a holistic vision and an adequate assessment by the subject of phenomena, processes, states in the humanities. Here the most important role belongs to the form of classification of knowledge. Thanks to its optimization, the volumetric characteristics of incoming information are significantly reduced, which greatly facilitates and speeds up the process of cognition of objective reality by the subject. At the same time, procedures for their rationalization and classification are used as special means of formalizing information; due to which narrowly focused knowledge is formed that contributes to the implementation of standard and unified operations to streamline them. One of the options for the optimal presentation of scientific information is the use of an interdisciplinary approach in the form of polychotomies and its particular versions.
