“SECOND AXIAL TIME” IN WESTERN AND RUSSIAN PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT: COMPARATIVE APPROACH

The article is devoted to the problem of understanding the “Second Axial Age” in Western and Russian philosophical thought through a comparative approach. In each study of the question of the meaning of history, different authors highlight one or another aspect, which ultimately allows one to come to a certain understanding of the meaning of history. The concept of "Axial Time" belongs to this circle of theories. It gives spiritual and moral meaning to history. The understanding of time is no longer limited to its physical interpretation; it is considered as a spiritual characteristic of the individual and society. Special attention is paid to the essence of anthropocosmism, as well as to determining the place and role of anthropocosmism in the philosophy of Russian cosmism.
