The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of opportunity management scenarios in crisis conditions through the lens of the leader's consciousness and actions. Based on philosophical and psychological concepts (Epstein M.N., Leontiev D.A., Brudny A.A., Asmolov A.G., Dotsenko E.L.), three opportunity management scenarios are identified: "Inevitable," "Possible," and "Impossible," corresponding to types of leaders - manager, innovator, and visionary. In the first scenario, "Inevitable," perceptions of available opportunities are generated based on past experience. In the second scenario, "Possible," the individual relies not only on experience but also on probabilities, sometimes very weak ones. In the third scenario, "Impossible," the leader operates on impossibilities. Their choices are not determined by anything; they act based on free will. It is demonstrated how differences in the semantic and ontological spaces of leaders determine their strategies, motivation, and outcomes in overcoming crises.
