ADOLESCENT SELF-REGULATION AND CHILD-PARENT RELATIONS

The article presents the results of a theoretical and empirical study of self-regulation in adolescence, as well as the relationship of self-regulation with child-parent relations. Differences in teenagers' assessment of parental interaction styles with boys and girls have been revealed. The results of the analysis of the importance of sex differences in adolescence in the development of self-regulation are presented. The article describes the psychological features of self-regulation in boys and girls, as well as analyzes the ability of adolescents to perceive parenting styles of their father and mother.
