In the era of globalization, cross-cultural psychology, which studies psychological phenomena in diverse cultural contexts, is gaining increasing significance. This study examines the formation and impact of learned helplessness from a cross-cultural perspective, emphasizing the importance of considering cultural factors. It analyzes the influence of culture on attributional styles, emotional responses, coping strategies, and the perception of failure. Special attention is given to the role of social support in either mitigating or reinforcing manifestations of helplessness. The findings highlight the need to integrate cultural context into psychological research and practice to enhance their effectiveness.
