A SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE INTERPRETATION OF THE INFORMATIZATION PROCESS IN CHINA

Wang Hongmin   (PhD Student, Transbaikal State University, Chita, Russia )

This article examines the development of informatization in China from a socio-philosophical perspective, situating it within the dual dimension of the global spread of technological modernity and the construction of local institutional subjectivity. By analyzing such stages of its development as “difficult beginning and instrumental imitation,” “comprehensive catch-up and integrated adaptation,” and “rational leaps and leading restructuring,” the article demonstrates that informatization in China is not a simple linear technological evolution, but a profound, state-led reconstruction of the “socio-technological system.” This process deeply reflects the complex dynamic interaction (dialectic) between technological rationality and socialist political rationality, market viability and the planned order, as well as access to globalization and civilizational self-awareness, demonstrating the unique characteristics of “biopolitical” governance.

Keywords:China's informatization; social philosophy; technological modernization; institutional subjectivity; socio-technological system; digital governance; civilizational politics; biopolitics; global information space.
