The main problems of modern pension system of the Russian Federation

At the turn of XX-XXI centuries, most pension systems around the world faced serious problems, among which the main one was the problem of "aging population". Population ageing is a consequence of two factors: increasing longevity and declining fertility. As a result of their influence varies the ratio of retirees and active participants of the system. Since the current pension system, as a rule, are based on the distribution of the insurance mechanism, the change of the ratio of pensioners and working leads to disruption of the balance system and the need for reform.
