On legislative regulation of the sphere of hotel services: problem aspects

The article explores the features of the implementation of hotel services under Russian law. The requirements for hotels are disclosed, in particular in their relations with consumers (tourists) regarding settlement, payment, registration, hotel services and others. Attention is focused on the categories of premises in which hotel services and requirements for the indicated premises should be provided. The latest changes in the legislation regarding the prohibition of hostels and the provision of hotel services in residential premises are analyzed.
