the present paper contains a method of development of a system of indicators for evaluation of economic security of companies of Russian oil and gas complex in the present technological and geopolitical situation. Main directions of economic security are identified. Specific indicators for evaluation of economic security within these directions are proposed. A general indicator of economic security is described
