METAVERSES: LEGAL CHALLENGES AND REGULATORY MECHANISMS IN THE DIGITAL AGE

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal problems arising in connection with the development of metaverses and virtual worlds. The author examines key issues of digital asset regulation, the legal status of virtual property, user identification mechanisms, as well as issues of jurisdiction and responsibility in digital spaces. Particular attention is paid to the comparative analysis of regulatory approaches in various legal systems and the development of proposals for improving legislation in this area. The article is based on an analysis of modern scientific research and regulatory legal acts.
