On the structure and efficiency criteria in information system

The article is devoted to the study of the composition, structural relations of the main elements of the information system, functional links between them, as well as criteria for the effectiveness of such a system. As a result of the analysis of scientific sources the variant of structuring of information system on elements of task and technological blocks is presented. Conditionally presents the relationship between these components. As an example of a possible organization of the information system, a description of the user authentication system according to the Schnorr scheme is given.
