                         This study is devoted to a comparative analysis of the role of development and training programs in the self-actualization of reservists in the energy and IT industries. Based on the implementation of a single nine-month development program, an assessment of its effectiveness was carried out in two companies. The methodology included qualitative and quantitative methods: documentation analysis, interviews, questionnaires. The results show high effectiveness of the program in both industries, with some advantage in the IT sector. A significant impact of the program on career growth, competency development and talent retention was revealed. The study demonstrates the universality and adaptability of the developed program for various industries.
