SELF-CONCEPT IN THE MODERN PSYCHOLOGY: THEORETICAL REVIEW

An analysis of ideas about the self-concept in modern psychology was carried out. Various aspects of the self-concept that arose in connection with the complication of the social context of life and the maturation of the modern personality are considered. The main directions of the study of the self-concept of a modern growing personality are highlighted. The relevance of further study of various sides of the Self, in particular, the study of Possible Self, is justified.
