"CREATIVE TESTS" - TECHNOLOGY FOR ASSESSING ABILITIES IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

The article reveals the theoretical provisions of the concept of abilities: they mean the totality of mental properties and processes; are designated as individual psychological characteristics that relate to the implementation of successful activities. The range of problems of effective identification of children's abilities in preschool institutions is highlighted. The results of a study of the abilities of preschool children using a special technology "Creative tests", developed by teachers of the Center for the Development of Child Talents in the city of Surgut, are described. The study consisted in identifying abilities in preschool children depending on the direction of development: visual arts, theater, vocals, judo, hip-hop. It is shown that "Creative tests" as a technology for identifying the abilities of children of senior preschool age based on the use of an integrated diagnostic approach is effective. The proposed complex for assessing abilities helps not only to identify the inclinations of the child, but also contributes to their development in the future.
