COMPARISON OF LANGUAGE FEATURES OF THE DIPLOMATIC SUB-STYLE OF THE RUSSIAN AND CHINESE LANGUAGES (BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF THE JOINT STATEMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA ON DEEPENING THE RELATIONS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PARTNERSHIP AND STRATEGIC INTERACTION ENTERING A NEW ERA")

In the modern world, diplomatic language plays an important role in resolving international issues and ensuring international security. The diplomatic language has its own stylistic and lexical features that make it unique and easily recognizable. This article focuses on comparing the diplomatic substyle of the Russian and Chinese languages. The subject of the study is the characteristics of diplomatic documents at the lexical, morphological and syntactic levels. The purpose of the article is to identify the stylistic features of diplomatic documents created in the languages under study. To achieve this goal, methods of comparative analysis, statistical analysis and component analysis are used. The bilingual document “Joint Statement of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China on Deepening Comprehensive Partnership Relations and Strategic Cooperation Entering a New Era” was chosen as the material for the study. This choice was driven by the need to avoid errors caused by translations, genre differences and differences in specific documents. As a result of the study, it was concluded that both Chinese and Russian diplomatic documents have a certain official character. However, due to the unique language systems and linguistic features of the Russian and Chinese languages, differences have been found at the lexical, morphological, and grammatical levels.
