ON THE ARTISTIC UNIQUENESS OF "DOCTOR'S PROSE": THE INFLUENCE OF MODERNISM ON LU XUN'S WORK

The article is devoted to the problem of modernist poetics of Lu Xun, who was able to transfer his medical knowledge into literary works. The writer did not adhere exclusively to the realistic method and paid great attention to foreign modernist literary trends. In his work, the influence of modernism can be seen in all its diversity. By combining the traditions of Chinese and Western culture, he proved that Chinese and Western literary horizons can be brought closer together.
