Teaching Russian in modern universities is at the crossroads of current educational trends and centuries-old traditions. In the context of globalization and digitalization of the educational process, it is important not only to convey grammatical norms and lexical nuances to students, but also to form their understanding of the cultural and historical context of the language. The main task of a modern university is to develop competencies that will allow graduates to successfully integrate into the professional and public space. In the context of teaching Russian, this means not only working with text, but also an in-depth study of the national culture, which contributes to the formation of a conscious and respectful attitude to the linguistic heritage.
