Russian guard officers in the First World War: battle of the command level of Semenov regiment

The article discusses issues related to the rotation of the high command of the Guards Semenov regiment during the fighting 1917- 1914. Materials of the Russian State Military Historical Archive (RSMHA) helped to trace and analyze on the basis of background and combat losses shelf level of training and combat level of threecommanders in the oldest regiment of the Russian Imperial Life Guards, who headed it during the First World War.
