A Quantitative Review for the Phonological Subsystem of an Agglutinative Language (upon the material of the phonological subsystem in the language of Namık Kemal’s novel "The Adventures of Ali Bey")

This article is devoted to the analysis of the quantitative and typological characteristics of the phonological subsystem in agglutinative language. Alphabetic character of the Ottoman writing system gives an opportunity to compare the indices that characterize the phonological subsystem calculated in the text on the Ottoman (Turkish language before the XX century). The article presents a dynamic analysis of the phonological system of agglutinative language on a material of the Ottoman language. Formal calculations on the recognized text were made for this analysis. Counting phonological indexes allows to formalize the relevant signs of an agglutinative language. This article is one from the series of publications in the framework of the project on the development of the Turkish language in a historical perspective.
