Towards symbolism of numbers in the Russian linguoculture

The symbolism which is expressed by numerals in the Russian linguoculture is analysed in this article. The symbolism of numerals was formed under the influence of folklore, ancient religious faiths of the Slavs and the Christianity. One of the numerals are endued with big symbolic sense in the Russian language than others: "three", "seven", "nine", "twelve", "thirteen", "forty". The perception of numerals as happy and unhappy numerals names are symbolic.
