Peculiarities and significance of Irina Doronina’s translation of Ernest Hemingway’s novel “For whom the bell tolls”

The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the E. Hemingway’s novel “For whom the bell tolls” translations completed at different periods of time. The author of the article defines the linguistic features of translations on the basis of translating techniques. The analysis involves names and toponyms, abbreviations, spoken speech, metaphors and phraseological units comparison.
