Functions of Chinese proverbs in Russian mass-media discourses

Chinese proverbs are quite noticeable in the contemporary Russian discourse of mass media. The article is devoted to the analysis of the pragmatic functions of Chinese proverbs in the Russian media. Chinese proverbs in the Russian media discourse have such functions as function of attracting attention, emotionally expressive function, evaluation function and regulatory function.
