Researching a poly semiotic structure of the novel by R. Riggs «Miss Peregrine’s home for peculiar children» and its adaptation (To the problem of an interpretation limited)

The objective of study is to show the ways of pursuing narrative strategy in different type of arts. The second key issue concerns a revealing the context meaning of the concept “strange” in comparing the narrative and visual semiotics systems. As example I take the novel “Miss Peregrines’ home for Peculiar children” by Ransom Riggs and its screen version. The research is a trying to prove the intermixing of different art forms (photo, screen and novel) for implementation the narrative strategy. The comparing of narrative and visual semiotics systems in novel “Miss Peregrines’ home for Peculiar children” made it possible to identify the instrument of a reallocation the concept’s element “strange” without breaking the mainstream significance. The most of photographs in that novel possessed the varying degree of the narrative expressions, while the word images created by using the visual type of experience derived from the cinema images.
