Combination of the historical and artistic tale in the story N.N. Tynyanova "Supporter Kizhe"

The article discusses the relationship between historical and artistic in the story of Yu.N. Tynyanov "Lieutenant Kizhe." The work is written on the basis of a historical anecdote about the second lieutenant whose surname originated in documents in the time of Paul I and who became a bureaucratic incident: he lived a lifetime, served, married, died. It is revealed that, based on a historical anecdote, the writer produces his own original story. On the one hand, it precisely follows the requirements of depicting historical reality, creating the image of Emperor Paul I, depicting the historical epoch, faithfully reproducing historical events. On the other hand, the story clearly shows the author's view of historical events, the author's interpretation of historical facts. It is shown that Yu.N. Tynyanov is building his own narrative strategy, completing and reworking the story of historical anecdotes. Attention is paid to the artistic quality of the text, author's ways of creating images of historical characters, for example, using the vocabulary of sensory perception to emphasize the suspiciousness of Pavel Petrovich, as well as the reception of contrast for depicting him as a person with mental disabilities. It is proved that the historical plot and the documentary context of the work are closely connected with the fictitiousness of the text, its artistic component.
