Semantics study of the verb "work"

The article analyses the verb “work” from the point of view of its semantics. There is presented the analysis of the synonyms of this verb in the semantic field. The semantic field of the verb "work" is analyzed and its meta-language interpretation, semantic valence and syntactic elements of the verb "work" are examined. The syntactic actant of the verb "work" is studied and its lexical functions are analyzed.
