The problem of qualitative examination of a literary text by an amateur reader

The article contains a reflection on the possibility of activating the desire for reading and reader's reflection in people who are not connected with the sphere of philological knowledge. The core of the article is the methodological development of the possibility of qualitative examination of a literary text by an amateur reader, the formation of literary taste is problematized, contributing to the independent, easy entry of an amateur into the world of amateur and fiction.
