Formation and development of trade relations with China in the far East in the period from 1858 to 1938

The relevance of this article is seen in the fact that at the present time the development of trade relations, entrepreneurial activity are manifested more and more, which contributes to fundamental changes in the economic way of society. In addition, both economic globalization and regional economic integration have become the two pillars of economic development. This provision fully applies to the development of trade relations with China in the far East. Taking into account the currently developing trade relations with China in the far East, it seems topical to investigate the period of their formation from 1858 to 1938 in the historical aspect. The author comes to the conclusion that The Aigun Treaty concluded between Russia and China allowed to consolidate at the legislative level the developing trade relations between the agreed States, which became a significant milestone, contributing to the development of mutual trade relations. The author in the considered period since 1858. in 1938, the establishment and development of trade relations with China in the far East, distinguishes four stages of the legislative consolidation of mutual private trade and exchange of goods between the subjects of the two neighboring States to reduce activity in trade relations occurred under the rule of Chiang Kai-shek, who began a broad anti-Soviet campaign, including against economic institutions. As for the current stage of trade cooperation, the partnership between Russia and China should be consistently strengthened.
