From the history of the development of various social groups in Russia: the history of Russian emigration in Turkey

The article considers the white emigration as a consequence of the revolutionary events in Russia in 1917 and the civil war. The author considers the peculiarities of arrangement of refugees in Turkey, focusing on the process of proletarization and lumpenization. In the short space of time before 1927, Russian refugees introduced new phenomena in Turkey, which are controversial from the perspective of traditional Islam.
