Migration linguistics: dynamic processes in language

The proposed article considers the history of the term’s formation "migration" and the impact of increasing migration flows on language of a host society. The relevance of the topic is justified by the increased interest of linguists in this issue, as well as the absence of a single and comprehensive linguistic theory of the study of migration processes. The object of the study is the influence of migration processes on the development of the title language. The subject of the study is dynamic language processes. The aim of the article is an attempt to systematize theoretical prerequisites for the formation of the new scientific direction "migration linguistics". To achieve this goal, authors of the article set the following tasks: review of the history of the concept of "migration" in domestic and foreign works; analysis of linguistic works of domestic and foreign researchers carried out in this direction; the definition of the object and subject of migration linguistics; description of the range of problems of migration linguistics.
