The relations of Turkey and Russia in Suleiman's The Magnificent reign: on the historical crossroads

In the article there is carried out the analysis of the Turkish policy for Russia in the period of Suleiman The Magnificent reign. The reasons of the prevailing peace policy between two states are differentiated. With the use of a descriptive method, the historical, comparative analysis there are considered the factors promoting formation of prerequisites of the hostile attitude towards Russia from Turkey and also a changeable vector of the Turkish policy, activization of military collisions between the countries in further prospect. A main objective of the author is search of the answer to a question of what of the scientific points of view considered in article on a problem and in what degree are true. The author drew a conclusion that change of course of Turkey concerning Russia on hostile after the oprichnik revolution, contrary to a number of statements, was not final.
