The purpose and tasks of musical education in Comprehensive School of China

The goal and objectives of general educational school music education in China and 9 versions of music education programs in primary schools are considered in the article. The reasons for changing the goal and the task of general school musical education are analyzed. And the requirements for the music teacher of the general education school are characterized. According to changes in the purpose and tasks of the musical education of the general education school, the process of development of Chinese musical education is characterized.
