Introduction of trainings when teaching translation

The article deals with the issue of introduction of trainings when teaching consecutive translation. Trainings are considered an educational tool that contributes to developing knowledge, skills, and strategies translators demonstrates in their work. The paper provides description of the phases to prepare and conduct trainings. The experiment which has taken place at the Philological department of RUDN University proves the expediency of applying trainings to teach students to translate. This interactive educational technology boosts students’ self-control, self-reflection and makes the educational process more dynamic and effective.
