Structural-semantic features of the complex process in Kumiksky language

The article deals with the structural and semantic features of the compound sentence in the Kumyk language. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the subordinate determinative, which is still controversial throughout Turkic studies. Based on a comparison with the Russian language, the trace of which has been preserved in the syntax of the Kumyk language, the authors, pointing to the structural and semantic features of the Kumyk clause, make an attempt to substantiate the criteria for its isolation and delimitation in the Kumyk language, which are presented in different publications in different ways , which introduces confusion in their study not only on a scientific level, but also in school and university courses. The article emphasizes that in the Kumyk language, the adjective determinative (and participial turns), unlike the Russian language, are never intonationally distinguished and not isolated on the letter, in addition, certain kinds of appendages of the defining Russian language do not have corresponding constructions in the Kumyk language and vice versa. Personally, the authors translated examples from their native language into Russian.
