Georgy Ivanov in Sergey Chudakov’s broken mirror

The author analyses the specific features of S. Chudakov’s poetry, which testify that G. Ivanov’s works influenced on his poetic manner. The author develops the reasons of commonality of their existentialistic worldview, which was predetermined by some biographic and sociocultural factors. Reinterpretation of G. Ivanov’s key motifs and images in S. Chudakov’s lyrics enriches by Soviet connotations, so that G. Ivanov’s tragic intonations gain a new sound when they express the experience of a man of the mid-to-late century.
