Intersemiology of literary text: the interaction of verbal and pictorial codes (based on the material of the R.Riggs' novel "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children")

This article regards one of the aspects of intersemiotcal translation on the R. Rigg's novel "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children". The attention focuses on the features of existing of different codes in one aesthetic sphere. It was uncovered that using of the different types of sign systems be author does function of intrigue of the novel. Besides photos whch accompony the text make the receptial resources of this work more valuable. One of the basic level of the interaction between literature and photoart is the level of the artistic figurativeness, thanks to which polycodeness of the work realises.
