In this article, the phenomenon of linguocultural gap is examined through the French-language literary discourse, namely the novel. The linguocultural gap is a marker that demonstrates a different picture of thinking and disrupts the process of intercultural and interpersonal communication. This issue is about the exceptional importance in the development of the modern multicultural space.
