Formation of design competence of a teacher

In the article project method and its relevance is considered, and its general characteristic is given. The article presents the diagnostic testing results of formation level assessment teachers’ and students’ project competence in high-er teaching institutions in Murmansk region. Project method always means a problem solution. The article analyzes and answers the following questions: What does the training project producing begin with? What questions could underlie teaching and cause students to get to the bottom of each studied topic?
