The ways of international scientific cooperation and the choice of a lingua franca for joint research

The article deals with the problem of international educational and research cooperation. The strategies of joint teaching and research are formulated, and the problem of a lingua franca choice during this interaction is brought forth. The author insists on the choice of the Russian language as a mediator in international scientific and educational communication and offers various ways of introducing the Russian language into the world scientific and educational space.
