The feature film as a means of teaching foreign students to professional communication in Russian within the specialty «Medical business»

The article is devoted to the problem of vocational guidance of foreign students in Russian universities. The didactic possibilities of a feature film as a means of teaching foreigners to professional communication in Russian at the stage of their preparation for clinical practice in Russian medical institutions are described. Criteria are formulated for the selection of authentic video materials that contribute to the rapid and effective development of special vocabulary and the development of skills for constructing dialogical speech in doctor-patient models and physician-physician in natural language conditions, as well as increasing the general professional culture of the future doctor. The educational and educational potential of modern thematic cinema is revealed on the example of work with a fragment from the feature film "Arrhythmia".
