The perception of Latins in chronicles the story of the baptism of Rus

The article is devoted the perception of the image of the Latins– representatives of the West European world in the context of chronicle the story of the events connected with the Baptism of Rus. The article uses sources such as "the Tale of bygone years" Laurentian, Hypatian, and Nikon vault. The study findings regarding the perception of the representatives of Roman Christianity in the ancient intellectual tradition.
