Individualism value identification in communicative behavior of characters of popular American movies

“Individualism” is one of the core values in the communicative behavior of the US citizens. It can be presented in all aspects of the daily life of the Americans. The article reveals the interpretation of this value implementing lexical and semantic analysis. The authors provide their methodology for identifying values in communicative behavior of characters in popular American movies. The article also tries to determine the relationship between the popularity of movie and the value priorities of US citizens.
