Youth jargon functioning in the texts of computer games chats

The present article is dedicated to the investigation of the youth jargon in the texts ofgaming chats and of the modes of their functioning. The authors postulate the rapid development of a new layer of jargon in the English language, namely, computer jargon and investigate its nature, discrimination features, itsstructural and functional characteristics.
