Terms of literary study in an explanatory dictionary: the peculiarity of stylistic labels

The article is devoted to the question of lexicographical representation of literary terms in an explanatory dictionary. The most common and the most popular explanatory dictionary of the twentieth century, the "Explanatory dictionary of Russian language" by S.I. Ozhegov and N.Yu. Shvedova was used as a research material. The author has selected all lexemes that relate to the terminological system of literary study from this lexicographical work by the method of continuous sampling. The aim of the study is to identify and describe the lexicographical difficulties and opportunities that arise in the stylistic characteristics of this class of lexemes.
