The Volga defensive boundary in 1941 (modern historiography)

In article questions of studying of construction of defensive boundaries in the territory of rear regions (Tatar, Chuvash, Mari and Mordovian ASSR) are considered. This subject is a little studied in historiography. Small plots about this episode of military history can be found only in the general works about the Great Patriotic War. Now a little studying of questions of construction of defensive boundaries by scientists of regions began.
