Functioning and the ways of translation phraseological units in English social-political texts

This article focuses on the basic methods of translating phrasal verbs in an English-language socio-political texts. Currently, in the modern media, namely in the newspapers, a large number of political phraseological units are found, which in turn lead to misunderstanding and punishment while translation from English into Russian. This article discusses the main translation methods that will help to improve the quality of translation.
